About Us

AnimeLoot is a blog about anime (as the name suggests), created by ArtemisdsII and Striffy (me).

I have no idea what else I’m supposed to add here. Probably something about how anime changed my life when I was in an accident when I was four years old and I lost my family and how I was about to give up all hope but I saw an anime that said “Don’t give up!” and then I found a new meaning to life and I didn’t die. But that never happened.

Well in that case:

About us, Coming Soon!

Edit October 26, 2012

Typical Striffy.

Hey, it’s ArtemisDSII. I’m no better with introductions but I think I might be able to get more of what you might be interested in when you click an ‘about me,’ across.

Basically we’re two cousins separated during high school living on the other side of the world from each other. Since Striffy eventually got really into anime and I have always liked certain anime as well, we decided to start a blog together reviewing things we like, etc.  It’s something to do, we want to do it and I’ve been trying to get Striffy to at least do something productive with the hours spent watching anime.

Yeah, I have a personal blog and have been blogging for a while but i want to keep this blog anonymous for the time being.

Signing Out,

ArtemisDSII

  1. Hi!

I’m Chungky from the Manga Weekend blog and I was wondering if you’d be interested in participating in a fan-run manga blogging event based on the Olympics.

I understand that your blog focuses more on anime, but I read your post about why MangaFox is basically a douche bag, and was wondering if you’d give manga blogging a go anyway. If you’d like more info about it you can check out our post at [http://mangaweekend.wordpress.com/2013/05/09/manga-weekend-hosts-manga-olympics-for-bloggers-mob-springsummer-2013-2/]

    Thank you for your time!
    Chungky

    1. Hey Chungky, I checked out your post and it sounds like fun. You can consider me an applicant (unless I get a terminal disease), though I probably won’t submit my application until the 26th of May.
Also there are certain dates I won’t be free (June 4, 5, 10, and 11), but that probably won’t get in the way of anything. I’ll see if Artemisdsii’s interested, plus another blogger. I hope you guys get loads of applicants- the more the merrier!
      Good luck.

      1. Hey striffy,

Sorry for the late response. I’m glad you’re interested in participating and submitting your app on that date is fine! If anything changes, we’ll definitely inform you. I’ve read artemisdsii’s comment, which was sweet xD
Also, thanks for informing me about the certain dates you will not be free. As soon as we close applications, we’ll be arranging the dates for which post events will happen. We’ll make sure to arrange the dates that no participating bloggers will be disadvantaged.
